Here at LR Sails, we will repair, remake or resew your existing Shade sail.

If making a new Shade Sail to measurement, we can measure existing post and anchor points or install points and posts as required.

LR Sails also make our own style Roll Down Blinds to fit your Patio or Carport, great to keep the harsh summer elements out and let the cool breeze in, through Summer and keep the cold Winter out.

LR Sails, will repair, remake or resew your existing Shade sail or make to measurement, your new shade sail.

Repair or Resew:

If your shade sail requires repair or just a resew you can Save money by removing and reinstalling your shade yourself and bringing it in to us for a quote for the repairs or alternatively you can contact us to arrange a time convenient for LR Sails to come and remove repair and reinstall.

You may call and ask for a pickup and delivery, uninstall or reinstall but this does come with a charge.

Remake your existing shade sail:

LR Sails will remake your existing shade sail. All you need to do is bring along your old shade sail and we will quote for a new one or alternatively, if your shade sail is substantially damaged, Send us the measurements between your anchor points and we can quote on your new shade sail.

You can arrange for us to come and measure your anchor points for your quote.

Making a new Shade Sail:

LR Sails will make your new shade sail. All you need to do is give us your measurements between your anchor points and we will quote on your new sail, alternatively you may arrange for us to measure your anchor points and quote.

If you require Posts and anchor points to be installed we will come and do a site inspection and quote at your convenience. This will include advice on design.

POLYFX is a quality Extra Heavy Duty Knitted shadecloth made from high density polyethylene. It is designed for use in modular shadesails and shade structures rather than large commercial projects.

POLYFX shadesails are ideal around swimming pools. Beach entertainment and barbecue facilities, outdoor lesiure and picnic areas.

POLYFX has been heat set, making it more stable and easier to cut and sew when fabricating a shadesail. It also has less shrinkage while retaining its strength and very high UV protection.

By the very size and nature of large tension structures, ARCHITEC 400™ offers the strongest fabric available in the market, and it has the best weight to strength ratio over competitor fabrics.

ARCHITEC 400™ offers up 96.5 % U.V. protection factors and incorporates the very latest in Ultra Violet stabilisers from Ciba Specialty Products that provide for the extended UV life of the fabric, and allows Polyfab Australia to provide a twelve year (12 yr) UV Warranty (conditions apply).

Most of our competitors can only offer UV protection factors ‘up to 90%’.

The new UV stabilizers also provide improved colour consistency and colour fastness.

ARCHITEC 400™ contains NO FLAT TAPES.

ARCHITEC 400™ incorporates our new oval shaped OVALON monofilament yarn that provides excellent strength, high UV protection factors and minimum stretch in both the weft and warp direction of the stitch pattern. Once installed tightly and firmly, it will maintain its tension.

The fabric’s performance is only as good as the quality of the design, engineering and support structures used to hold the fabric under the tension that it deserves.

COMSHADE is a unique and innovative extra heavy duty knitted shadecloth made from high density polyethylene monofilament and tapes. It is designed for tension membrane shadesails used in architectural and commercial shade structures. Commercial knitted shadecloth is designed for large tension membrane structures.

COMSHADE is ideal for large commercial projects where the fabric is supported by engineering certification, which allows the knitted shadecloth to be placed under high tensile loadings.

COMSHADE has less shrinkage and is more stable, while maintaining its strength and over 90% UV protection and shade factors.
